We are preparing to start meeting together again this Sunday on Sunday 25th July back in the Parish Rooms. Praise God, it will be wonderful to see you again!
We are putting in place some measures to make our meeting as safe as we can. Therefore we firstly ask that if you have any of the mentioned covid symptoms (Cough, temperature, a loss of taste or smell, cold symptoms), please don’t come to church and get a test before returning. Secondly, we’re introducing a few safety measures as you enter the building, so we’ll take people’s temperature on entry (we have bought a temperature checking gun), there will be hand sanitiser available to use and we would ask that you wear a mask whilst coming into the building and up the stairs. We will also have a signing in register, for track and trace purposes and we’ll have the room well ventilated. You also may wish to use the NHS app and QR code on the door to sign in too.
During the meeting, hopefully we’ll be able to worship together (the ban on congregational singing has now been lifted),which will be great. While mask wearing in the service is optional, we are advising caution, so if you wanted to continue to wear your mask throughout the service, that would be good (although if you need a breather or are struggling with the heat etc. please feel free to take it off) . Initially we’re going to keep things as simple as possible. So there won’t be all our music equipment, any kids work or any drinks. We’ll also keep our meeting relatively short (probably similar to our online meetings) again for safety reasons. Also, we’ll post a service onto our facebook live and youtube pages as we have been, for folks who aren’t around.
Looking forward to seeing you soon,
