Current Activities: Church services; 'A Lighter Look'; Cell groups; Parents & Toddler groups; Dads,Grandads & Toddlers; Youth group (11-14 yrs); Alpha Courses - all detailed below.

At Ackworth Community Church you’ll find inclusive worship, relevant teaching and opportunities for prayer. We focus our church life around Small Group Churches (not unlike cell groups)  meeting through the week and coming together on Sunday. These small groups are an ideal place to grow together, build strong friendships and reach out to the community around each group. We are a family oriented church and consider children an important part of the church. We are developing a stream of youth work for 11-14 year olds. We welcome those who come with questions about the Christian faith and we run the Alpha course regularly.

'A LIGHTER LOOK - 'café church'                                                                                                                    a less formal, more informative café style of church service - includes a short DVD or PowerPoint presentation. Our next  LIGHTER LOOK  is to be arranged. It's different! A relaxed atmosphere around the tables that encourages people to chat and discuss the topic of the evening.
